Who we are
At Saed, we believe in beginnings.
Before there was a name, there was a shared vision—of hospitality reimagined, of intimacy restored, of food as both craft and connection.
Chef Daniel Bolaños began his journey through one of Ohio’s first culinary apprenticeship programs, cultivating skill with discipline and heart. His path through fine dining kitchens led him not only to leadership but to clarity—how to honor ingredients, build thoughtful systems, and bring soul into every dish. He lets the seasons speak first, then listens closely to build a menu that is both grounded and inspired.
Katie Sahadi brings the same intentionality to the guest experience. With roots in service and a deep command of fine dining, she rose through the ranks to become a General Manager, Event Planner, and award-winning Mixologist. Her bar programs have drawn national attention, but her true art lies in cultivating people—through leadership, training, and the creation of spaces that feel both refined and real.
Together, we've spent over three decades refining our craft in some of Cleveland’s most celebrated restaurants, but Saed was born from something deeper: a desire to return to the seed. To slow down. To nourish. To make space for what matters.
We specialize in intimate, curated experiences—from baby showers to five-course wine pairings, from surprise engagements to family-style celebrations. Whether we’re in your home or designing something from the ground up, each event is guided by our values: seasonality, connection, and care.
While our long-term dream is a farm-to-table restaurant and venue of our own, Saed already lives wherever we gather. It lives in the way we plate a dish, design a cocktail, set a table, or make a guest feel seen.
Our name, Saed, comes from Old English—it means “seed.” And that’s exactly what we’re planting: with every meal, every event, every relationship. Something meaningful. Something that lasts.
Join us. Let’s grow something beautiful together.
